Overdraft protection

Many credit card companies offer overdraft protection.  Generally, for a fee, the overdraft protection allows a cardholder to exceed a predetermined authorized dollar limit.  The overdraft protection will also have a limit the cardholder can exceed the original authorized dollar limit on charges.
