Penalty Fees

Penalty fees are fees charged by credit card companies for not following the terms or your card agreement. A common practice among credit card issuers is they generally encourage good financial behavior by penalizing bad behavior. You can expect to be charged for things like going over your limit, making late payments, and bouncing checks. Be aware that these penalty fees can be very excessive and can add up fast.
