Co-Branded Card

A co-branded credit card is a credit card sponsored by both an issuing bank and a merchant or retail organization such as a department store, hotel or airline. Co-branded cards usually offer benefits or rewards to the cardholder for use at the sponsoring merchant. The rewards earned are subject to the terms of the credit card agreement and are usually tied to the usage of the co-branded card.
