Void

Void means to nullify a transaction that has been recorded for settlement, but not yet settled. Voiding a transaction removes the transaction from the batch of transactions to be settled. A credit card transaction may be voided for a variety of reasons, and the cardholder will not have the voided transaction added to the balance of their credit card account.
