Interchange

Interchange is the exchange of information, transaction data, and money between the aquiring bank and the issuing bank of any banking transaction. Interchange systems are very standardized so banks and merchants worldwide will be able to use them. Interchange services are managed by Visa and MasterCard associations according to their requirements.
